Einstein online
An online archive launched this week is bringing the papers of Albert
Einstein into the public domain.
Now anyone interested in the Nobel Prize winning scientist, who came up
with the theory of relativity at the tender age of 26, can search
through a massive database of approximately 43,000 Einstein-related
documents.
A travel diary, scientific manuscripts, and even an example from one of
his lecture notebooks are displayed in a 'Gallery' section on the site.
The site is a collaboration between the Hebrew University's Albert
Einstein Archives, the Information Technology and Photo-Reprography
Departments of the Jewish National and University Library (JNUL), and
the Einstein Papers Project at the California Institute of Technology in
Pasadena.
