Mitchell Silverman did some research on the Flash cookie deal and found
some useful information. The key bits of information seem to be that
it's not as easy as the article makes out for advertisers to track
cross site usage. Also you can actually adjust the privacy settings
for your Flash player.
To adjust the settings for the sight you are currently viewing, right
click on the Flash animator and choose "Settings".
To adjust the settings for all new sites (and have the ability to
delete old sites settings) go to:
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/
settings_manager07.html
