[wordup] Twitter coverage of the Iran Election

It's taken me a very long time to warm to Twitter, it's really only  
been this year that I've been able to fathom any use for it (but  
that's really for another conversation).  If you haven't been  
following the coverage of the current Iranian Election and the  
commentary that's been happening via Twitter it's fascinating.  The  
page is a little overwhelming and constantly updates, browse for a  
couple minutes to get the feel for how it works, especially because  
tweets are so short it takes a little bit of time to build context.

Even to the point that the US Stage Department has requested that  
Twitter delay some scheduled maintenance to allow the commentary to  
progress (who would have thought that the US government would like  
Iran looking bad? :-).
