Chemists: Body Odor Soothing To Women

Hey ladies, forget the aromatherapy and massages when you want to feel 
less stress.

NewsChannel5's Alicia Booth reported organic chemists at the Monell 
Chemical Senses Center in Philadelphia have discovered that a man's body 
odor actually makes a woman less stressed.

The study also found that a man's body odor can regulate a woman's cycle.

"A number of experiments now (show) that both male and female underarm 
odorants and extracts... can influence the length and timing of the 
female menstrual cycle," said George Preti of the Monell Chemical Senses 
Center.

Booth added that sweat doesn't smell. It's the bacteria in the sweat 
that smells.
